There is much to be said for simple things done well, and for things to be simply done, in every sense.  In that context, it is essential that my work has purpose of both form and function.  Similarly, without imposing intent, my objective is that the work will speak for itself and serve whatever purpose the user desires.  It is about communicating and connecting in an unspoken but very immediate and tactile way that, in our increasingly pressurized and artificial world, hand-made goods are good for us, in every way.
